All Diva Media Launches Marriage Blog
Washington, DC and Miamisburg, OH - September 10, 2007- According to the US Census Bureau, the ratio of marriages to divorce is 2 to 1. Does that mean that the institution of marriage is doomed?
“There’s a joke that when a woman gets married she gets congratulations but when a man gets married he gets condolences,” said DJ Nelson founder of All Diva Media, a network of sites focusing on empowering women. “It’s time to stop with this grim view of marriage and focus on the beauty of a life long partnership.”
MarriageDiva.com will be written by Heather Utendorf, an Ohio based freelance writer. “I hope I can show married women, and hopefully men, that marriage isn’t about winning a war against your spouse. I want to show that accepting a spouse for their good qualities and their faults, is just part of the package”, said Utendorf.
Utendorf continued, “There’s so much stale advice out there in magazines, books and the web. I was tired of the nagging wife routine played out in everything I read, so I saw this as an opportunity to educate people about how happy a marriage can be with a little love, honesty and laughter.”
