Weekend Divas

Posted by DJ Nelson on September 1st, 2007

First things first- I’m looking for a D.I.V.A. to feature in our first ezine. I’m thinking of someone with an interesting business or someone who is doing something amazing for society; but I’m open to ideas. If you are interested, let me know who you are, what you do, and any other relevant details. You can contact me here.

Now on to the good stuff

  • I’ll admit it…I don’t do cars. I will fill up the tank and that’s about all I want to do. Anything else that needs to be done, I will have someone else do it for me. I want to change that because I hate being so stereotypical, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Besides, I justify it by saying I’m not that way because I’m a woman; I’m that way because I have better things to do. Everyone can’t do everything- right? Anyway Ask Patty, the home of auto advice for women, has a list of 16 Things You Should Keep in Your Trunk.
  • I’m not going to go on a rant about how I am so sick of everyone being so thin obsessed. Nope, I’m not going to go there today, maybe later. While I think about that, you should check out this video on Big Fat Deal which highlights the art of bellydancing. It’s quite refreshing, just don’t expect to see a 110 lb dancer.
