What To Do If You Are Being Date Raped
This is a little serious for a happy Saturday morning but I think that everyone needs to read this account. It doesn’t matter if you are a man or a woman; it doesn’t matter if you don’t think this will impact you, it might impact someone you know - your daughter, sister, friend, cousin, etc.
“So I had to lie still. He started groping and he was pushing his sweaty palms trying to remove my panties. That got me into action. My cousins’ lectures kicked in and I remembered what needs to be done when in a tight situation, (one of my cousins is from the Navy seals and the other is in the marines, both of them had a tour of duty during Desert Storm). I figured this is not just a tight situation, THIS IS A DIRE SITUATION.”
She goes on describe how she got out of the situation (grab, twist, kick, poke); and how she felt afterwards.
“My parents never knew. I never told this story. Even my sister who was close to me, she never knew. I didn’t tell my friend, the only person who saw me that night looking like I was when I showed up on their doorstep.”
