Juanita Bynum says “Adios”
About two weeks ago I posted about the alleged attack on Evangelist Juanita Bynum by her husband Bishop Thomas Weeks III.
The latest news is that Bynum has filed for divorce. In an interview with Fox 5 News Bynum said,”I’m not crying just because I was kicked or I was choked. There’s more to it than that for me. I know that scars heal, but I lost somebody that I loved very much. I know p
eople go through this saying I loved him. No, I love him”. [See Interview]
On September 5th Weeks spoke for the first time saying that he would share his version of the story at the right time. Weeks was charged with felony aggravated assault, felony terroristic threats and two counts of simple battery.
Bynum plans on launching ministry to help women who have suffered from domestic violence.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea if both Weeks and Bynum take a brief break from ministry for while to work all this mess out. The work of God is not dependent on them and they need a break from the spotlight to reassess the direction their lives are heading. Hopefully they’ll reconcile and have a stronger relationship than the previous years.
