Forbes has this great layout highlighting the worlds most powerful women.
The woman ranked number one is Angela Merkel, who is first woman to become chancellor of Germany.
Ranked at number 100 is Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, President of Liberia.
If you are wondering how they ranked these women (and I sure was) it’s clearly explained:
“Our ranking system starts with a list of women who have crossed certain thresholds. Most of them run companies, governments or nonprofits, or are very close to the top. A handful have established power bases in other ways (an entertainment entrepreneur, a judge and an author have been on the list). The power ranking score is based on a composite of visibility (measured by press citations) and economic impact.”

I know how important it is as a woman to not be feminst but real is more important. Feminism in my brain says that I have to do something to be somebody. I am not a great worker, but I can tell immediately by how I am treated if a coampany has a good vision or if they are wasting time. I love to write, it has not been easy, since I am quite stubborn, I feel as a writer it is very important to not hide faults, but to embrace them, since we will go to extremes to hide, what will only sneak it’s head out of course at all the wrong times.
Why do we hide traits that may not be as likeable as the positives we believe we share with others? For starters it is much nicer to be patted on the back, than hated by co-workers, and looked at for being different. Which by all accounts I am, I have spoken up in job related incidents and cannot say enough of the lack of response that was given.
I come from a point of view, okay so I don’t have a college diploma, yet. But that dosen’t mean that I am a horses a** either. I want to be treated with respect, and if not I will be in touch with human resources to discuss why or why not are they allowing intolerant behavior to exist.
I am watchful, my college credits that I do hold are aproximately 50, I have a major concentration in psychology, philosophy, writing, I watch Ellen, Oprah,Deal or No Deal, Don’t Forget That Tune, I would love to get a job in the back ground of t.v. or in providing services for someone like a personal assistant.
