Calling one's self a feminist doesn't change that fact, at least not by itself. I mean---look at BET. It's supposed to be a channel for African Americans, yet they regurgitate as many antiblack stereotypes as FOX News or Rush Limbaugh or anywhere else. Why is that? Because Black folk get the same racist messages about Black people as white folks do. The same is true with misogyny and other forms of bigotry as well.
