I used to consider myself a liberal but sometimes I do find myself thinking that maybe some forms of "free expression" ought to be curtailed as they encroach on other people's freedom. I find it almost hilarious when liberal parents try to "chastise" their kids in public - so ineffectual. Not sure what's worse - the idea of rape being reduced to a dance or referring to women as "hoes". Nothing surprises me about this world anymore. Haven't you heard we're Abstinence Only Educators in this country and to educate about rape - what it is and why it shouldn't happen and who should respect who - would be to actually discuss sex. Also all of our rape education has to be centered around what a girl is doing or wearing or saying to deserve it or "prevent" it. We couldn't/won't educate BOYS about why they shouldn't rape girls or even tell them they are responsible for it. Boys don't CAUSE rape. Everyone knows it's the skirt.
