I never really think about the blogosphere being dominated by males. That’s probably because I run a womens blog network; and also because I read a lot of excellent blogs by women.

However, every time those top blogger lists come out, whether it’s in a magazine or on a blog; the ranks seem to be dominated by men. The times that women are mentioned it seems to be the same blogs over and over.

I’m not getting fussy over it, I just realize that there are many other high quality blogs written by women.

Sooner or later I knew that someone would decide to change that, and to my surprise I received an email that I made the list of the Top 100 Female Bloggers.

Hopefully this list will get the publicity it deserves. Maybe it will pave the way for someone to create a mainstream top list that includes a proportionate amount of both male and female bloggers.

But for now, I’ll say thank you for including me and I’ll enjoy reading through the blogs listed.
