how is it that on this perticular topic (women harassement and dealing with disrepectful chauvinistic behaviour) we can see those stereotypical adds for filipino women (seeking mature man.. sis) beautiful chinese women. that's a bit nonsensical, now, don't you think?
plus this write a comment box is irritating when you're trying to read the article.

Thank you for posting this and doing the interview. God, I can't even count how many times I've had face-to-face confrontations on the street in NYC with black men harassing me. I'm so glad somebody's calling it out. But I have to say, once in a while, I've seen white men to it, too.

Not to cast the blame back to us as women, but when videos are CONSTANTLY portraying women as whores and sex objects (and when female entertainers cast themselves as that) we all become that in some men's minds.

I have a friend who says to men on the street, "This ain't no music video. Keep it moving."

Even with my husband, we've had confrontations with men on the street. I've been sure a few times we were all going to go to blows. It's crazy. I don't understand why men think that's okay. That they have a right.

I don't get that now - ever - because I live in a smaller city where men don't act like that. It's such a relief.

Thank you for doing this interview. A blogger named CW posted this video to her YouTube page, and people were thinking that she's Tracey Rose. It's good to hear from the real Tracey Rose. Thank you!
