Ok, it’s really time to stop all the brainwashing and get a reality check.

Every book we read, tv show we watch, commercial we see, and magazine we flip through impacts the way we view the world. I don’t understand how anyone can deny this fact, but there’s this attitude floating around that “there is nothing impacting my views. Nothing influences the way I think at all.”

Case in point, my 2007 post about Bratz dolls being a bad influence.

It’s still getting comments, and unfortunately some of them are filled with some the most ridiculous things I’ve ever read.

It’s time for a pop culture detox to happen in this society. I am seriously concerned about what type of women our young girls are going to grow up to be.

I see a society of scantily clad, foolish women, with foul mouths who can’t think for themselves because they’ve been brainwashed; yet at the same time they think they are so intelligent and above being influenced by anything other than their own thoughts.

Scary.

And very frustrating.
