Okay. So, I need some advice. My boyfriend is really angering me and I don't know what to do. He sits there and texts me about howm much he misses me but when I offer to come pick him up to go watch my cousin's basketball game he is like "Eh... and sit through sports? :/ " Yet, I'm expected to jump at the chance to meet his parents, and I do.

I also don't think it is right for him to text me during the game telling me that he had just got done watching a really good movie, especailly since he supposedly missed me yet he didn't want to go watch a basketball game, that my cousin was playing in. When I tell him I miss him I mean it and I really would not care if I spent my time with him by watching a movie or cleaning garbage off of the side of a highway. At least I'd be spending time with him.

He used to spend so much time with me before he got his job. We were together like every single day. We had even talked about marraige and getting an apartment. But now we don't talk about that stuff that much anymore and we only see eachother maybe 4 hours a week.

Latley, he has been talking about this Sharon girl that he works with. At first, it was "Sharon and I have this inside joke" now it's "Sharon and I are going to pay some bills... she is driving me because she has a car" or "Sharon and I are going to Wal-Mart" or "Sharon and I played guitar hero, and I beat her everytime".

Now, I haven't talked to him about this yet because I need some advice. What do I do? How do I start this conversation? Some one please help me. Any advice is welcome and appreciated.

You start the conversation by saying "Who is Sharon again?" but don't expect full honesty if you suspect something is up.

As for the rest all I can say is go with your gut. You know if something isn't right and don't be afraid to give him his walking papers.

But I do want to add something about the basketball game...does he know your family that well? Does he even like sports? That matters in relation to whether you should be upset or not.

Thanks. Yeah, he does know my family pretty well. The problem with that is that most of them dislike him for one reason or another (when in actuallity they only have a fear of me leaving them because I am 18.). Although, not everyone "hates" him my step mom did try to hit on him TWICE. As for the sports bit, if it is UFC or MMA he is there... as for basketball, not so much. And, UFC 91 is this weekend so he wants me to spend Saturday with him and ditch my cousin's last game. And, I don't know what to do there either, I missed my cousin's first game to watch UFC 90 with him and his family. Now to miss his LAST game, eek, I don't know. Oh well, we'll figure something out, I hope.

As for the other issuse, I think my grandparents (whom I live with) are contributing to the paranoide feeling that I get simply because the are like "Things have changed since Nevada got his job." or "Doesn't his dishonorable discharge from the Marines bother you?" or " We think he is cheating on you 'cause he hasn't spent much time with you lately, yet he can drive around all day with that Sharon chick."

So, I don't know. I guess my grandparents would be like the crazy in-laws that neither really wants to be around sometimes... I mean, I love my grandparents to death but I think that they like to put their two cents into mine and Nevada's relationship just enough to get me nervious.

Anyways, thanks for the Sharon tip and the advice.

Ask him what already the level of their friendship. Ask him what ever you want to know, its better if you know it from the start so that you will not waste your love and time to person who doesn't feel what you feel for him.
