Are you following the dreams that you had when you were younger? Are you actively pursuing the dreams you currently have?

What steps are you taking to be the person you  want to be?

When I was a kid I wanted to be a doctor because I wanted to help people. I don't have any interest in being a doctor anymore but I still try to help people in any way that I can.

I just recently started an organization for young girls called "Created to Be!"  I have always known that I would be of help to people, but never knew in what capacity.  I went to college with my mind set on Psychology, and because I had taken so many credits, I just went for the degree.  After some soul searching I knew, without a doubt, that I DID NOT want to work in anyone's office, lab, or classroom.

I started praying to God about my life's purpose, and allowed him to speak to me about it.  It was then that I knew I was porposed to work with young people, young women especially, given some of the things I had gone through in my life.  My past situations and circumstances have become the remedy for someone else.

So, I am living not only my dream, but my life's purpose.  I dream to work on my own doing something that I love to do.  The girls that I have now give me joy, and it pleases me to know that I have something to deposit into their lives.

I wanted to be an actress when I was little.  What's funny is that I don't remember why I wanted to be an actress, I just remember it had something to do w/ an episode of "Three's Company."     Huh

In the present tense I have zero percent interest in acting but I do have alot of things I want to do with my life.  I can't really say I have a definite career choice that I want to stick to, though.  I've accomplished many of my goals, I make everyday meaningful and I continue to actively work on the rest of my goals so I would say that I am living my dreams.

I'm moving up the corporate ladder and that's what I've been wanting to do so I'm good. I have other dreams and things I wish I could do but for now I am taking the safe route and sticking to my career.

When I envisioned my life it always included a family and a college-educated job. I knew that I wanted financial stability because I never had it as a kid,, so even as a kid I knew I wanted it.

So my two jobs were "veterinarian" or "writer." Now when I said writer, I probably envisioned novelist, but I''m a freelance writer now and enjoying every day. I LOVE it.

So yes, with the kids, and the writing, my dreams are doing well.

But, I get new dreams all the time. Don't you:)
