Inviting an old fling.

Just wondering...

Would it be wrong to invite male friends from the past to your wedding?  I mean, if you two remained cordial with one another?  I ask because I dated someone that I have known for a very long time and I am thinking of inviting him to my wedding.  We were friends before we dated, and are still cool with each other now.  Funny thing is that we actually have a better friendship than we did a relationship.  Our families are very close friends as well.  What do you think?

That's a tough one.

Would it be wrong? Not necessarily. But I think the question is why invite him? Do you have a really good reason for inviting him or do you want to because you feel like you must invite every person who is a part of your life?

If there will be any kind of weird or negative energy going on then I'd say definitely not. Leave the past in the past. But if that's not the case then I guess the only think you have to think about is how would your fiance feel about it?

Yea, how does your FH feel about it? And how would you feel if the shoe was on the other foot? If he's cool and you would be cool with it then rock on!
